Oscar! (starring Sylvester Stallone)

hehe, really? I`ve seen this movie ten (?) years ago. It`s the best acting of Stallone I´ve ever seen!

I like most of the films with Humphrey Bogart

I like also most films from and with Woody Allen

Star Wars IV-VI (only the original, not the remasterd !!!

Lost in translation

Heat

Dead men don't wear plaid!

American beauty

About A boy

Snatch

Seven

1984 (also one of my favorite books!)

High fidelity (also one of my favorite books)

Scar Face

House of the flying daggers

Alien (only I and II)

Oldboy

Me, myself and Irene (what a crazy movie! I love Jim Carrey in that one!)

...most of Zucker, Abrahams, Zucker-Flms (Top Secret, Naked Gun, Mafia, etc)

...and a lot of films I don't remember now!

@Ereshkigal: I´ve heard, Christian Bale is the NEW BATMAN!

I haven't seen it yet on HBO, but perhaps it's different where you are. You certainly need to keep up the effort to check it out though. Really entertaining film.

That's true, and it's looking promising so far. I'm probably going to check it out when it's released.

The rest of the cast looks great as well. For more info on "Batman Begins" IMDB link

I also liked Swing Kids and American Psycho, although i've been told that the book is much better.

Christian Bale did an AMAZING job in the movie "The machinist". It's not on video yet but I magaged to catch it at a small indie theater on the last day. If you liked "American Psycho", you'll like this.

he's a great actor, the movie is highly enjoyable but I have mixed feelings about what he's done to himself to play that role, it's really disturbing

Yeah, the producers claim Bale dropped 60 pounds for the role...down to about 120 pounds, which is quite a dramatic (and incredibly unhealthy) change from his normal weight of 180ish.

I'm not alone with this opinion yeeeeees :green:
Fav comedy. With some family myths. My mother gave birth to me after Oscar was on the TV (was the old version with...maybe Louis de Finés :o )
About 8 years before there was the Sly-version on TV. At midniight my sister went to the hospital to give birth to my nephew.
I have a niece too (it is the daughter of a sister isn't? :o) . She's 5 years old. But by her it was some failure there was only Oscar Awards Gala befor she was born :D

Me too, especially "Mighty Aphrodite" and "Deconstructing Harry".

Something very funny from Norway:

"Elling" ("Mors Elling" wasn´t bad either, but not as funny as "Elling")

and from Sweden:

"Kopps" (H.I.L.A.R.I.O.U.S.!)
"Miffo"

Ghostrider with Nic Cage will be grrreat!
Death is going to be shot. Yes, the Neil gaiman comic!
Mountains of Madness is going to be done by Guilermo del Torro! He also will direct Hellboy 2 and another ghost-movie like Devil´s backbone, soon.
Edward Furlong is going to be the next main character in the Crow 4, after the teribbl, terrible 3rd Crow the 4th got some very good reviews.

I´m still waiting for Neuromancer directed by Cunningham, but i think that is never going to happen, since he was supposed to do it 6 years ago. :-(
