Also Bohemian Rhapsody in polca form by Al Yankovic! Kickass! :green:

The cover of Stairway to Heaven by the Leningrad Cowboys does sound interesting though... as in, great rethinking! Love it!

4. “Stairway to Heaven” by Dolly Parton (2002). Seriously, it happened. Parton is a country legend, but she had no business transforming the Led Zeppelin standard into a weepy, self–indulgent reaction to the Sept. 11 tragedy. The result was, with no pun intended, just a big ol’ bust.

OK then, how about "Stairway to Heaven" by Aussie wobble board, Stylophone and "Can you see what it is yet?" folk artist and entertainer Rolf Harris? Seriously, that happened too.

Yeah, Avril kinda butchered Fuel on that show. I could tell that James was really pleased seeing her, though... :green:

KoRn and Limp Bizkit actually did a pretty decent job with their covers, on the other hand...

The entire Guns and Roses' Spaghetti Incident CD, except maybe for "Since I Don't Have You".

Puff Daddy or P. Diddy or whoever he is, butchering of "Every Breath You Take" which is not really a cover song, but it sucks balls.

I Don't like any cover songs - best or worst. I prefer whole cover album! I know only one - compare "FOXTROT" by GENESIS 72 and "SOMEWHERE..." by CITIZEN CAIN 94!

I don't know about the other covers but "knockin'" was sooooo boring... :tw:

Anyway, best cover song from the last years is 666 - Number of the beast from Maiden played by Zwan (Billy Corgan). This accoustic version is so touching...!! Listen to it, it's on a single and in the spun soundtrack!!
